The Neighborhood
The neighbourhood, located on the Arno river, is one of the areas where you can get away from stress and admire Florence from a unique view. People in San Niccolò are still trying to live as a community. There are a lot of original shops with a mix of old artisan botteghe, art galleries, design boutiques, and vintage ateliers. Is for sure a walk you can’t miss while visiting Florence .Moreover, if you are in the mood for an aperitif or looking for an evening with typical vinaini and summer bars for sitting and relaxing after a walk day tour, you’ve come to the perfect neighbourhood! Here you will find glimpses of a Florence poised between romanticism and slow itineraries: such as those from Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato al Monte. Once here, keep your eyes open and don’t miss these lovely pieces of art, the gorgeous museums and stunning buildings known worldwide, such as the Dome, Uffizi Gallery and Giotto’s bell tower.
