The apartment is located by the first floor of a three-story building on the main street of the San Niccolo district.
The house consists of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower and a small but comfortable living room. The kitchen is directly connected to the living room.One of the two bedrooms watches directly onto Via San Niccolò while the other overlooks the interior court. The living room also overlooks the internal courtyard with two windows – still the space is very bright and above all very quiet.
Inside the apartment there is everything you will need to enjoy your time in the best possible way. Inside the apartment you will find all the amenities you need for your best comfort. In the living room there is a smart TV with Netflix in English (or your preferred language) and of course Wi Fi internet access. The house is equipped with air conditioning in every room.
In the kitchen are provided: toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine with pods included. The kitchen has an oven, a dishwasher and any item needed for cooking. In the house there is also a small laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board.
The apartment’s building is the typical Florentine architecture of the early nineteenth century.
The apartment was completely renovated in 2015 and has never been used until 2022 for long stays.
The house is located at the first floor and is easily accessible through a few steps. There is no elevator but even if there was one, most likely it would not be used as the apartment is only few steps away from the entrance.
The apartment is very quiet as it extends mainly towards the interior of the building, in fact only one room watches the front road.
The apartment is located on the other side of the Arno river and despite being an area of the historical center it can be reached by car during the day.
From 8 pm to 7.30 am, however, the area is closed to traffic and only residents who have a permit can access it. So becoming a pedestrian area at night it will be easier then to get out and pick one the nice restaurants and bars located before and after the ancient door of the city.
Street parking is reserved for residents (white lines) although a few hundreds meters down the road there is public paid parking lot (blue lines) in Piazza Poggi. In the neighborhood itself there is no private garage where you can leave your car. The closest one is about 8 minute walk from the apartment. The closest bus stop, the line number 23, is just 5 minutes away by foot.
The district of San Niccolò has kept its medieval heart in all respects. Here is in fact one of the few stretches of the ancient city walls still standing. The atmosphere along with the architecture has also remained very calm and peaceful, although there is no lack of excellent bars and restaurants. The district of San Niccolò itself is not very large, it is nevertheless in a privileged position to reach the Ponte Vecchio and to climb the splendid hill of Piazzale Michelangelo, the Giardino delle Rose and even Villa Bardini. For walks lovers and everyone visiting Florence it’s a must see neighborhood.
